Published work

Peer-reviewed papers on benfotiamine. Case reports from clinical practice. Reviews of the literature on nerve and brain health.

Dr. Mann’s publications follow a single line of inquiry: the role of benfotiamine, a safe, well-documented, and highly bioactive form of vitamin B1, in improving nervous system function. His earliest papers grow out of his clinical work with peripheral neuropathy. The more recent ones extend into other diseases in which the same underlying biological principles apply: from ALS and Parkinson’s disease to Long COVID brain fog.
